Children's Church Bulletin Board

This was so much fun. Some of the leaves are from the B is for Boy Cartridge and the rest was cut from the Create a Critter Cartridge. The squirrel was cut at 11 inches and the saying was cut at 11.5 inches. The acorns and leaves were cut at all different sizes.
My god-daughter and niece helped me put all the pieces up and then after we finished we HAD to make a trip to the Dairy Queen. We were met there by 3 other kids from our Children's Church. It was truly a great afternoon. I really treasure my time with these kids.

Just Wanted To Check In

Hi Everyone, I wanted to apologize for not having posted in a while and say thank you to those of you who sent messages and emails to check on me. Things have been a little rough here. My husband and I drove 3 hours yesterday to get me to a good neurosurgeon in Zephryhills Florida. He was the doctor who put my shunt in 13 years ago. I have a brain tumor and he put a shunt in the base of my spine to keep the pressure down from around my brain. Well, for the last 2 years I've been having seizures and headaches but about 2 months ago things kinda kicked into high gear. The seizures are coming regularly and the headaches are excruciating. But God has been good and I have not lost any more of my vision, which I am very thankful for. The doctor decided that risk to me where far greater than the benefits would be at this point, so I am seeing some additional doctors to help deal with the pain and seizures and praying that God gives me the strength to handle what I have to deal with. I have a big God and I know that with Him nothing is impossible and I will get through this.

I decorated my church bulletin board which I will try to remember to photograph when I go to church tomorrow. Then my niece is getting married next weekend in West Virginia and with all my health problems I can't be there but I was able to help with some things for the reception and my cricut was just buzzing. I was able to make tags for the candy buffet and since the theme of the wedding was fall, I cut out some squirrels, acorns, pumpkins and leaves to decorate the candy table with. I wish I could be there but still being able to help her has made me so happy. It almost (almost) feels like I'm there. I took some pictures on my phone to send to my niece but was in such a hurry to get them to her that I forgot to take pictures with my regular camera. I'll try to get them loaded and show you what I made.

Again I would like to thank you all for caring and being so kind to me.
Thanks for visiting me today and happy crafting.

I Feel the Love Project Card

This is my card for Madison's Project. She posted today that she has officially made her quota for this months recipient, Casa Pacifica.
I used the Paperdoll Dress Up cartridge. The paper comes from a DCWV mat stack, Harvest Gatherings. I inked around the edge with Tim Holtz Dried Marigold distress ink and chalked around the main with my Stamp-in Up Chalks. I used a Stamp-in Up Punch for the computer generated sentiment and my Peachy Keen Stamps for his adorable little face.
Thanks for visiting me today and happy crafting.

I Spent Way To Much Money Haul

Hi everyone, I haven't had a chance to finish my card yet for the I Feel the Love Project. We have all been sick here. But I had done a haul video of the things I got last week when I went to Valdosta with my wonderful daughter. Who, believe it or not, bought more than I did. LOL So I sat down this morning and loaded it to YouTube so I could share it with all of you.

I Feel The Love Project (project share)

I don't know if you've ever participated in the I Feel the Love Project but there's no time like the present to start. This month all the cards go to Casa Pacifica, a facility were up to 70 children live at any given time because of emotional, physical or family crisis issues. Madison wants to be able to give each child a card before their Halloween party. Right now she has 17 cards, so you can see why she needs your help. I'm asking you to help me help make Madison's mission a success by making a card for Halloween or fall and getting it to her by the end of the month. Here is the link to get to Madison's blog, so you can get all the information.
Thanks for visiting me today and happy crafting.

Bulletin Board for Senior Adult Class

The Sunday School teacher for our senior adult class asked me to make a bulletin board for her class and this is what I came up with.
All of the letters were cut with my cricut from the Child's Year Cartridge. The pumpkins were cut from the Celebrate with Flourish Cricut Lite Cartridge at 6 inches. The leaves came from two different cartridges, Everyday Paper dolls and Stretch Your Imagination in 3 different sizes. My husband helped me do the large 4 inch letters. His side is perfect and mind is all wonky. I'll let you figure out what part was his. LOL I really hope that the lady I made it for, likes it.

RAK from Tricia (alittleshabbychic on youtube)

Tricia lives in Great Britain and she and her family went to London. Which I think is so cool. So while she was there, she picked some really cute things up for me and my family and sent them to us. She also sent Mariah something special.
Mariah loved her bird house. The only problem we've had is that I've caught her several times trying to take it outside so the birds can come live in it. LOL Tricia said that she had heard that their chocolates and ours are different, so she sent some of those goodies to us too. My family completely flipped over the happy hippos. Those happy hippos were delicious - they would bring a smile to any one's face.
