I ordered a duplicate Tim Holtz distress ink, even after I checked my list. Well, apparently I was not the only one to do it because Tammy (sscrafter1) swapped with me and I was so thankful. She also sent me a few other goodies that I'd like to share with you.
Thanks again Tammy for being so kind and willing to do this with me.
Hey Guys, I am working on a fall project and started by making over 80 owls with the Stamp-in Up Owl Punch. I used these products. . .
DCWV Harvest Gathering Mat Stack from last year inked with Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade and Scattered Straw
Recollections Multi-Pack Brown and inked it with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain
The feet and beak are made with Bazzill Tangelo Blast and inked with Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade
I ran the pieces through my xyron machine so assembling the owl was a zip and I also used a sakura white gelly roll pen for the whites of the eyes. They really went together quickly when I didn't have to worry about putting adhesive on the back of each piece.
I tried to add pictures to my post but it says that I'm out of space. So I'm gonna have to wait until I figure that out to add pictures to this post. I'm so sorry, I don't know what it is doing.
Emjay is so sweet. She sent some goodies all the way from Great Britain for me and my little girl. Sorry it's in three pieces, I don't know how to put them together. Mariah, my little girl loved doing her video and now she thinks she should be in every video I make.
Please continue to pray for us as we are still dealing with the flood and the damage. The big problem right now is that our suburban was damaged in the flood and it is the only way I have to transport my wheelchair. So your prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Everyone, it feels so good to be back. We have been through a flood and were out of our house for a week and then it has been non-stop clean-up and repairs. Then my computer went down and I haven't been able to make any post for a while. I wanted to share the goodies I got with my gift certificate from LAcrafts.
If you are looking for some great prices on some awesome products, go check them out.
I am so thankful that we are back in our house. For those of you who do not know, I live in Live Oak Florida and we got so much rain that many, many homes in our area flooded, including ours, and sink holes opened up all over town. There are two on our church property (which is where we were staying when we had to leave our home). Right now there is one in the center of town and after they xrayed the ground they estimated it to be at least 150 feet deep. My heart goes out to the people who are dealing with this flood and are still not back in their homes. We are still cleaning things up and we lost one of our vehicles when my daughter had to drive through a flooded road. So I wanted to ask you all to please pray that we get our car fixed or if God wants we find another one that we can buy. Our suburban is the only way we have to get my electric wheelchair out of the house and get me to my doctors appointments and back and forth to church. So if you all could join me in prayer over this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for visiting me today and happy crafting.
God Bless,
Sherry
