Will Be Closing My Blog

Hi Everyone. I have had my blog for almost 2 years now and for the last 9 months I haven't gotten one new subscriber and have barely received any comments. I would like to than Sheena, Sandy, Ana and Jessie for being the loyal few who always did their best to leave positive comments and try to encourage me. I will be checking in and keeping up with all of your blogs like I have before. I love seeing what everyone is making and being inspired by your creativity. So please keep creating.

Last Box for a while - Altered Blue Box

Okay, I won't make you all watch another box video for a while, I think. LOL I have really been enjoying myself. I am getting better at layering my flowers but still have a long way to go. A very sweet lady on YouTube, her name is Rosemary, gave me some awesome tips on my boxes and I wanted to share those with you. The first was that if I wanted to remove on of the flowers that I hot glued down to take my heat gun and try to gently melt the glue. It especially works well if you can heat the glue from underneath. The second thing she shared with me, as these last couple boxes were round to add pearls to the bottom of the boxes to help them stay in place and not roll everywhere. I haven't tried the pearls yet but I will let you know how that works out when I try it.

Altered Yellow Box

Hobby Lobby and Michaels Haul

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to share the goodies that I got from Hobby Lobby and Michaels. My oldest daughter and I went to the store to get her art supplies for the art class that she is taking. She is working on her masters in Art Therapy. So of course while I was there, I had to take advantage of the opportunity and pick a few things up for myself.

Valentines Day Box

I altered a balsa box for a friend of mine to give to his wife on Valentines Day. He's going to fill it with Hershey's Hugs and Kisses, isn't that such a sweet idea.
